Sen Ubah: Gov Obiano, account for 25 billion naira of Anambra money.

Sen Ifeanyi Ubah, the senator representing the good people of Anambra south senatorial zone, has revealed how Gov Obiano got 25 million naira from the ministry of finance and has refused to account for it.

According to Senator Ubah, the Debt Management Office (DMO) through the Federal Ministry of Finance approved 25 billion naira to Anambra state government on July, 2020.

The total value of the promissory note given to gov Obiano is estimated to be valued at 25,244,309,091 naira.

However, a reliable source gathered that this funds was secretly recieved by the state government without any consideration from the state Assembly

“ This administration is an outgoing govt. Election will hold November next year and it is important for the governor to explain to Ndi Anambra what projects he wants to use the 25 billion naira he recieved from the federal govt to execute.” Ubah stated.

The YPP senator, went on to express  his displeasure to the poor working relationship the Gov Obiano has with the legislatures from the state.

“ The governor does not consult members of the national assembly from his state and in most cases refuses to attend to invitations or participate in programmes convened by most members of the national assembly from Anambra state.

It will also interest you to know that, the federal ministry of works have approved the rehabilitation of some major roads in Anambra state, especially in Uga, Ekwulobia, Ihiala and environs.

But the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) led government is doing everything within their might to frustrate my efforts in making sure these road projects are completed before the start of the festive season. However, i  am determined to see that, those road projects are completed in time and in good quality. ” Sen Ubah assured.
